2024 Jogathon & Holi Celebration
Tuesday March 12th | Big Yard
Grant’s annual Jogathon is our largest fundraiser of the year. It provides support for our kids, funds programs for Grant, and encourages physical fitness as a way to have fun. In 2023, our Gecko Nation raised over $90,000! This year, our goal is $100,000. And if we reach $75,000, Principal Fuhrer will get slimed again! There will be prizes for top class participation, top fundraiser and the grade that raises the most money wins Handel’s ice cream!
We will also hold our second Holi celebration during Jogathon. Holi is a cultural festival welcoming the beginning of Spring and is celebrated in India and many parts of Asia. The festival represents new beginnings, and good triumphing over evil. It is celebrated by throwing colorful powder and dancing.
Purchase a chance to win running with your kid!
Please ADD your child’s name next to yours when purchasing so we can match you up!

HOLI INFORMATION
Each jogathon classroom grouping will celebrate on the big yard prior to their run. The color powder is made from non-toxic, gluten free, and environmentally safe ingredients made in the USA and is FD&C approved. The powder should brush off and wash out of clothing in the laundry. The students will be wearing their T-shirts provided by Grant for the Jogathon this day, but you may also wish to pack an extra T-shirt if your child would like to change. We will explain the significance of Holi in our classrooms the week prior to the festival so our Geckos will know what to expect.
Please let your teacher and child know if you prefer for your child to not participate in our Holi celebration.
JOGATHON SIGNUP INSTRUCTIONS
Find your child’s grade and click the button for instructions on how to set up your child’s fundraising page. A separate page will need to be created for each child, as the fundraising is organized by grade level. If you have kids in the same grade, you will create only one page for them together.
